What kind of world it is
New York, Latveria, orbit and everything past it. Some hold the public face, some hold a file on everyone, some hold the front page. Your rank decides whether you get called in for a planetary threat or for a bank robbery.
The side is picked in the questionnaire: hero, villain, antihero or civilian. Playing a civilian is not a joke here — the world is just as detailed from street level.
How it plays
Eight attributes, and the eighth is Might: it measures what separates a hero from a person. Thirty-two skills, from brawling and piloting to publicity, law and cosmology — half the scenes are not settled by a fight.
Powers are laid out in sixteen groups — strength, speed, durability, regeneration, flight, energy, telepathy, telekinesis, magic, technology and on down the list — and each costs energy. Money and ammunition are counted too.
